Some garage door problems can wait for a regular appointment. If one of these is happening right now, call us. The trucks carry parts for most of them, so they're usually fixed on the first visit.

If the door won't close all the way, the house is open to anyone walking by, along with the car and tools inside. The usual causes are blocked or misaligned safety sensors, a snapped cable, or a door that has slipped off its track. Call and we'll come out the same day when the schedule allows, or tell you honestly how long it will be.
Your Garage Door Won't Open
A door that won't open can leave your car stuck in the garage on a workday morning. Most of the time the cause is a broken torsion spring, a stripped opener gear, or a power problem. Our trucks carry common springs and opener parts, so this is usually fixed on the first visit.
A Spring Snapped
A loud bang from the garage, followed by a door that feels too heavy or won't go up, almost always means a broken torsion spring. Leave the door where it is. Don't lift it by hand and don't run the opener. Without the spring, the full weight of the door is on you or the motor.
The Door Came Off Its Track
A door that sags to one side, jams partway, or hangs crooked has usually come off its track. It can fall, so keep kids, pets and cars away from it. We put the door back on the track, check the rollers and cables for damage, and test the balance before we leave.
