Traditional Raised Panel
Rectangular panels pressed into steel. It's the standard look in a lot of Houston subdivisions and suits brick or siding.
Carriage House
Made to look like old swing-out barn doors, but it rolls up on tracks like any other sectional door.
Contemporary/Modern
Flat or grooved panels with no raised trim, often in black, gray or a wood-look finish.
Full-View Glass
Aluminum frame with glass or clear panels. Lets in plenty of daylight, and also afternoon heat on a west-facing garage.

We take down the old door and hang the new one on new tracks and springs, usually in a single visit.
Final Walkthrough
We balance the springs, test the safety reverse, and show you the slide lock and the manual release.

How long does a garage door installation take?
Plan on most of a day for a two-car door. A single-car door usually goes faster. Adding a new opener at the same visit takes extra time. We finish in one trip unless the opening needs framing repair first.
What brands of garage doors do you install?
We're an authorized dealer for Clopay, Amarr and C.H.I. Between the three you can get plain steel, wood-look, carriage-house, modern and full-view glass doors, in insulated and wind-rated versions.
Do you remove and dispose of the old door?
Taking down the old door is part of the install, and we haul it off. Your written quote lists everything included, so you can confirm it before you schedule.
How much does a new garage door cost?
Most complete doors run $1,000 to $1,900 installed. A single-car 8x7 steel door is about $1,000 to $1,100, and a two-car 16x7 steel door is about $1,500. A 16x7 carriage-house door runs $1,400 to $1,750, and wood or custom doors start around $1,900. If only a panel or two is damaged, replacing those sections ($650 to $1,100) may be enough.
Should I get an insulated garage door?
If the garage is attached to the house or has a room above it, it's usually worth it here. An insulated door keeps the garage cooler in summer, runs quieter, and the extra layer makes the panels harder to dent. Expect it to add roughly $300 to $600.
